Guam - 56-year-old Joseph A. Salas has admitted that he's been bringing methamphetamine hydrochloride to Guam and distributing it. According to a plea agreement, Salas would receive the drugs via express mail and deliver it to others.
He admits to 15 separate shipments of drugs starting in 2009. He faces a maximum sentence of 40 years behind bars and a $4,000,000 fine for conspiracy to distribute the drug Ice. Salas was indicted in September of last year accused of distributing between 5 and 50 grams of crystal meth.
He's agreed to cooperate with federal authorities.
