Guam - 16 bills are headed to Adelup after they were passed by lawmakers today. The bills included senator Tony Ada's Bill 112, which authorized the sale of 114 square meters of Chamorro Land Trust Commission property; Senator Sam Mabini's Bill 239, also known as the College and Career Readiness Act; Senator Dennis Rodriguez's Bill 323, which would require parental consent for a minor to get an abortion; and Senator Tina Muna Barnes' Bill 343 that creates a Guam Film Office.
Lawmakers also confirmed five individuals including Guam Fire Department Chief Joey San Nicolas. The bills now head to the governor for his approval.
