Guam - Thanks to the generosity of many in our community, the Salvation Army is confident they have enough gifts to distribute to the less fortunate. Family Center services director Simeon Kilheng says the organization received four thousand toys this year, telling KUAM News, "We want every child that never has a toy or a present to be able to open something up during Christmas time and have that smile and be happy like every other child."
Volunteers helped distribute some toys today to those families that pre-registered with village mayors. The rest of the toys will be distributed tomorrow.
