Guam - Arnold Davis and the Center for Individual Rights will have additional time to respond to the Government of Guam's motion to dismiss their discrimination lawsuit. The Center, filed suit on behalf of Davis alleging racial discrimination because he wasn't allowed to sign up for the Chamorro-only vote to determine Guam's future political status.
The attorney general has moved to have the complaint dismissed as he doesn't believe the law violates the constitution. A response was supposed to be filed this Friday but the parties have agreed to give the plaintiffs an extension.
The response to the motion to dismiss is now due on January 3.
