GMH unable to reach agreement with Schindler

by Ken Quintanilla

Guam - Guam Memorial Hospital Board of Trustees Chairman Lee Webber confirms with KUAM that following tonight's working session, board members were unable to come to an agreement with Lawrence Schindler for the position of hospital administrator. Webber said the board will move on to other options, but wouldn't confirm the reason behind the board's decision or if the other previous considered candidates would be discussed.

He adds no further discussion or decision will be made until their next meeting on December 14. Webber said the board did engage in personnel discussion but it didn't involve anything regarding the cost-cutting plan.
