Guam - An 18-year-old Yigo woman was arrested by police on Tuesday evening accused of having a blood alcohol level that was more than four times the legal limit. Guam Police Department Spokesperson Officer A.J. Balajadia says Jelly Soram was the female pedestrian who was struck by a Toyota Yaris on October 18 on Marine Corps Drive in Tamuning.

GPD's Highway Patrol Division arrested Soram on charges of public drunkenness, underage drinking and crossing other than within a crosswalk.  Soram's blood alcohol content was .330 and police confirm she tested positive for amphetamines in her blood system.

The teen was arrested and released from police custody.
