Guam - A man was crushed under a forklift this afternoon in Harmon. Guam Fire Department spokesperson Lieutenant Ed Artero says medics were called to an industrial accident behind Fukuda Enterprises in Harmon.
Those at the scene told KUAM News that crews were trying to move an old bus, but it was too heavy for the forklift, causing the operator to lose his balance. The fork lift flipped crushing the operator.
Authorities have not identified the man who was unconscious and unresponsive but CPR was administered en route to the Guam Memorial Hospital in Tamuning. GMH nursing supervisors confirmed that the man, who is 48, was pronounced dead at 5:42.
