celebrated their 20th Anniversary of their annual road race with well over a
thousand runners coming out in support of the event. Runners took to the course
in the 5K, 10K and half marathon distances. Taking home the $1,000.00 prize in
the men's half marathon race was Changwon Kim from Kenya with a time of 1:14:31.
Yuka Aoyama of Japan walked away with the women's
marathon prize money and first place finish with a time of 1:27:30. 10K first
place male finisher was Japan's
Shogo Hisano who also went home with $1,000.00 cash. First female 10K runner
was Natsumi Yoshida from Japan.
Guam's Derek
Madell crossed the line first in the 5K with a time of 16:42, Taylor Fell was
the first female runner to cross the finish line with a time of 19:24.
