Guam - Acting Guam Fire Department Fire Chief Joey San Nicolas will take the hot seat on tuesday, likely to be grilled about what his plans are to improve the agency. He's the fifth person this year who has been tapped to lead the department for the Calvo Administration.
San Nicolas was previously the department's spokesperson and also served as the fire chief's aide. He also serves as an officer in the Guam National Guard, which goes towards his qualifications for the position.
The confirmation hearing is scheduled for Tuesday at two o'clock in the afternoon.
