Guam - The Department of Education has started a new search for a superintendent. The position pays $125,000 a year and applicants must have a master's degree in education, business, public administration or related field, five years experience in the field of educational leadership or management and must be of good moral character without any felony convictions.
The Guam Education Board recently conducted a search and narrowed the applicants down to two candidates, but after interviews and a vote, neither candidate garnered enough votes for the job. The deadline to submit applications is January 31, 2012.
