Police make arrest for kidnapping, torture

Guam - Police have arrested a third individual believed to be involved in the kidnapping and torturing of a man. Christopher Anthony Duenas Mesa was arrested on charges of criminal facilitation, felonious restraint and conspiracy to kidnapping. 

According to Guam Police Department Spokesperson Officer A.J. Balajadia, police were able to locate Mesa, who is alleged to have participated in kidnapping and torturing a man with Mateo Sardoma and Rudy Hernandez Sablan.  Sardoma and Sablan are being held behind bars on $500,000 cash bail. 

The three men are accused of beating a handyman who they accused of stealing a pound of crystal methamphetamine from Sardoma while performing work at his house.
