Guam - The Judiciary of Guam has selected Joshua Tenorio to fill the position of director of policy planning and community relations. Beginning Monday, November 21 he will fill the vacancy left by Maria Cenzon who took the governor's legal counsel position.

Administrator of the court Perry Taitano says Tenorio will serve as the liaison between the Executive and Legislative Branches of GovGuam, the communication link between the media and the public as well as oversee the implementation of the Judiciary's strategic plan.

Tenorio has most recently been a staffer at Vice Speaker B.J. Cruz's office and is also an active member of the Democratic Party on Guam. He also previously served as the Judiciary Committee Director in the 27th Guam Legislature and was Deputy Chief of Staff to former Governor Gutierrez and was also Associate Publisher of GU Magazine and Business Development Director for Core Tech.

He will be stepping down as a Democratic party commissioner on the Guam Election Commission and as the board chairperson for Pa'a taotao Tano.
