Guam - Jay Leon Guerrero led from start to finish in the 25th Asian Intercity Bowling Championship being contested at the Orchid Bowl, Singapore, leaving the competition behind with a 4047 total (224 average) through 24 games. Leon Guerrero dropped sets of 1340, 1409 and 1298. Park Min Su of Daegu, Korea claimed silver with a 3829 total more than 200 pins away from Leon Guerrero while Jeremy Posadas of Pasay won bronze with a 3800 total.
With the win, Leon Guerrero claims his third gold of the championship and goes for a fourth in the Men's Top 16 Masters event. Leon Guerrero will be joined by team mates John John Ada and JD Castro who also qualified in the top 16 as Ada finished in 9th place with a 204 average while Castro ended up in 14th place with a 201 average.
Bernice Lim took top honors in the ladies leading the Singapore scoop of the All Events with a 3872 total followed by Amanda Ng 3862 and Ilma Nur Jannah 3702.
Gerry Tan of Paranaque claimed his third gold in the men's seniors division with a 3507 total followed by Adam Chew of Jurong 3432 and Richard Ewe of East Coast 3361.
Baby David of San Juan, Philippines topped the Women's Seniors with a 3039 total edging out Shirley Liew of East Coast 3030 and Yeo Soo Young of Singapore 3002.
