Guam - Coin-operated massage chairs are a thing of the past. BleachBright, located at the Guam Premier Outlet's food court, not only offers teeth whitening services, but massage services as well. Owner David Dell'isola told KUAM News, "I wanted to expand the offerings here at GPO and offer something unique."
Dell'isola is especially happy to offer this new service so close to the holiday season when the stress from shopping can get overwhelming. "I'm happy to try to bring it here for the holiday season," he said, adding, "If you're already in the store, walking around shopping, just walk on in and it can happen in 15 minutes and you'll see how much better you'll feel and more rejuvenated."
Unlike a-coin operated massage chair, Dell'isola's offers a unique design. "Basically when you sit on the chair you feel like you're floating and it takes all the pressure off and distributes it evenly through your body. And my massage therapist can come in and give a really good massage," he said.
Best of all, a session on the massage chair is commitment free because you don't need to make an appointment in advance. Dell'isola says it's a great alternative to going to the spa because his massage therapist, Fred, has more than 10 years experience in the field. "You come in, you sit down, and you tell him where your sore points are, you tell him what problems you're having. He'll come in and he'll concentrate on that area and take care of it for you," he said.
Dell'isola says his prices are a steal. It's a dollar per minute, $13 for 15 minutes, $25 for 30 minutes, or an hour for $40. If you're still apprehensive about paying for a massage, Dell'isola says demos are available, saying, "So far we've been open since last weekend and we've got some great response from everybody."
