Guam - KUAM News has confirmed that former Yap State Governor Robert Ruecho is the new FSM Consul General for Guam. He was sworn in on Monday to serve in his new official capacity by FSM President Manny Mori. The FSM President nominated Ruecho to the position back in July. President Mori is in Guam along with members of his cabinet to host a pair of meetings with members of the FSM and Chuukese communities in Guam. The meetings are being held in light of the recent triple homicide in Harmon that occurred during the September 11th weekend.  The first meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, October 19th for the FSM Community and Thursday, October 20th for the Chuukese Community. Both meetings are being held at the Dededo Senior Citizens Center at 6:00pm.
