Guam - The Consolidated Commission on Utilities is meeting this evening, during which commissioners are expected to hear from the Guam Power Authority on which companies it will recommend to award its first ever renewable energy contract. GPA is in the process of obtaining 80 megawatts of renewable energy and the first phase is for the first 40 megawatts.
During tonight's meeting GPA will recommended which out of the six companies that responded should perform the work.
