Superintendent hopefuls interviewing this week

Guam - Starting tomorrow interviews for the final two candidates for the superintendent of education position get underway. The Guam Education Board is scheduled to formally interview governor's education liaison Vince Leon Guerrero tomorrow, while 2010 Teacher of the Year and George Washington High School teacher Salvador Avilla is scheduled to be interviewed Thursday.

The board will then meet on Friday during which time among the items on the agenda will discuss filling the vacancy.  Friday's meeting is scheduled for 8:30 in the morning in the DOE Conference Room in Hagatna.
