Carbullido Elem. PTO donates supplies

by Krystal Paco

Guam - Carbullido Elementary School's Parent Teacher Organization provided school supplies to over 500 students from kindergarten to fifth grade. Everything from planners, glue sticks, composition notebooks, folders, crayons, filler paper and more was purchased by money raised through two major PTO fundraisers.

Carbullido Elementary School Principal Agnes Guerrero told KUAM News, "Anything, a little token of anything goes a long way, but as you can see, it really has helped a lot as far as starting off the school year, especially the student planners which is a good, excellent source of communication between the home and the school, that has come a long way."

It has been a yearly tradition for the PTO to purchase supplies so students are ready for the new school year. About $14,000 was raised and $6,000 was allocated for the supplies.
