Guam - While the doors are preparing to open at the new JFK High School, down south in the village of Umatac it doesn't look like F.Q. Sanchez Elementary School will be opening. According to Umatac mayor Dean Sanchez the school is now empty after all of the campus' equipment was moved to nearby Merizo Elementary.

Sanchez says the school community remains in limbo and that parents are refusing to buy school supplies and uniforms until they hear from island leaders on whether F.Q. will open on August 22.
