Guam - 28 year old Jason Jesse Cruz of Dededo was arrested for his alleged involvement in the string of burglaries throughout the island. GPD spokesperson officer Mercy Grino states, surveillance video from one of the burglarized establishments caught Cruz within the premises after hours. Police say Cruz covered his face with a shirt when he noticed the cameras and later disabled the surveillance system.
Cruz then allegedly removed several items from the facility. While police have not specified which locations were burglarized, Cruz was charged with 5 counts of burglary, 5 counts of theft of property and 5 counts of criminal mischief.
