Guam - About 121 soldiers with the Guam National Guard's 1224th engineer support company is conducting annual training in Piti, Barrigada and Northwest field. The training consist of various projects including general maintenance of the Veteran's cemetery, clearing of over 30 acres of Guam National Guard property for future construction, and assisting in horizontal operations up north.
According to a news release, the company was activated in 2008, but traces its roots back as one of the Guam guard's first units. The training began today and will continue through August 22.
