Governor calls for GovGuam-wide reorganization

Guam - The writing's been on the wall for quite some time now regarding the size of GovGuam, and just last week the announcement of more than 300 adverse actions already doled out by the Calvo Administration. Now more change coming down the pike.

Governor Eddie Calvo has signed a memorandum calling for a government-wide reorganization doing away with the business as usual mentality.  Calvo has called for the first major overhaul of the government calling it long overdue.  The governor has directed his cabinet to present their reorganization plans by tomorrow and a meeting will be held this Saturday to further refine those proposals. 

Calvo saying the need for change has further been reinforced by the passage of Bill 257 that will result in $11 million in cuts to every agency expect the Department of Education.
