Guam - A 57-year-old Inarajan woman has been arrested for the death of Department of Corrections officer Joey Fernandez. Highway Patrol Division officers with GPD today arrested Frances Martinez Chargualaf on charges of vehicular homicide and exiting a private driveway without yielding.

Chargualaf was exiting McDonald's in Hagatna last month when she collided with Fernandez, who was riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.  Fernandez was pinned under the car and died from injuries sustained in the crash.

Chargualaf is being held behind bars awaiting further court hearings.
