Guam - The parents of a 14-month-old toddler who died from malnutrition and pneumonia were appointed attorneys today. Mary Rojas and Ray Anthony Hocog were supposed to answer to criminal charges that were handed down in an indictment. The couple is being held behind bars on one hundred thousand dollars cash bail each on charges of negligent homicide, manslaughter and child abuse.
With the appointment of attorneys, the arraignment hearing was pushed back until August 10 before Magistrate Judge Alberto Tolentino.
