Guam - Four police officers who were demoted and stripped of their badges and guns are pursuing a case against the Guam Police Department in the Superior Court. Attorney William Pole represents the four officers who believe they were discriminated against by GPD management when they were demoted to civilian status for allegedly not meeting the requirements to return to the force.
The government however has moved to have the case thrown out because the officers were reinstated to their respective ranks. Judge Elizabeth Barrett Anderson has taken the motion under advisement.
