Guam - The Guam International airport authority confirms adverse action was taken against certain employees who were directly involved in the allegations of improprieties conducted during the GIAA triennial disaster drill in June.
GCC volunteer Jimmy Lomibao suffered a broken nose and bruises after airport police officers allegedly attacked him, while he played an agitated passenger during the drill. KUAM News has confirmed that Lieutenant Patrick Tydingco was suspended while John Leon Guerrero was terminated effective last Friday.
Meantime, a Guam police investigation is also ongoing, as Lomibao has filed a criminal complaint against the officers.
