Guam airman asks T-Mobile Girl to Air Force Ball

by Leah Eclavea

Guam - It's not your typical invitation to a ball, but Airman Adam Stelmack thought he'd give it a shot anyway by asking T-Mobile spokeswoman Carly Foulkes to the Air Force Ball on Guam this September. Stelmack is one of dozens of other servicemembers who are digging up the courage to ask celebrities to be their dates to various military functions.

Although he didn't get the answer he had hoped for, he did get a personal message from Foulkes. He explained, "I was ecstatic that I found out, even though she said no, and that she was busy I was still extremely pleased that she went out of her way and took the time to make a video for me."

Stelmack says he still has a ticket for any model interested, and is hopeful Foulkes will reconsider.
