Guam - A small business based out of Maine has been awarded a $9.5 million contract to upgrade water, sanitary sewer and communications systems on Andersen Air Force Base. Naval Facilities Engineering Command Marianas announced the award to P&S Construction, Inc.
The contractor will be installing an elevated water tank, waterlines and a gravity sanitary sewer manhole as well as upgrades to sanitary pump stations and other equipment on the Yigo base. The project is expected to be completed by February 2013.
