Guam - The 2011 GPA Basketball League gets under way this Saturday July 30 at the Agana Heights Gym. 16 teams will be competing for a chance to take home this year's championship trophy. Opening ceremonies take place at 2:30 pm in the afternoon with 4 games to follow right after.
Regular season games pick back up on Monday's, Wednesday's and Friday's all taking place at the Guam Sports Complex with the first game of the night starting at 6:00 pm. Last year's champions GPA Admin will look to repeat but will have to get by newcomers to the league the Governor's Office, Gepa, MEC, Masters 1 and Masters 2.
