Committee to reveal superintendent nominees

Guam - The top three nominees vying for the Department of Education superintendent position will be announced on Tuesday morning during the Guam Education Board's meeting. The search committee narrowed down the list of nine candidates to three and will present them to the board to decide who should lead the largest Government of Guam, agency. 

DOE Superintendent Dr. Nerissa Bretania Underwood and Deputy Superintendent Arlene Unpingco's contracts expire this Friday. Finance Deputy Taling Taitano is expected to lead the transition committee. 

The board will meet at 8:30 Tuesday morning at the DOE Conference Room in Hagatna.
