Guam - The Department of Agriculture has issued a special permit that allows fishing of juvenile jacks, juvenile goatfish, or juvenile fusiliers for a two-week period from July 14 to July 28 between the hours of 5am to 7pm. Fishermen will only be allowed to use talaya nets and hook-n-line within the Piti Bomb Holes Marine Preserve and the Achang Reef Flat Marine Preserve for cultural educational purposes.

The fishing of any other marine species other then the jacks, goatfish, or fusiliers are prohibited. For more information and to view the permit, you can visit the Piti and Merizo Mayor's Office or the Department of Agriculture, Division of Aquatic and Wildlife Resources.
