Guam - Six people were sent to the hospital just after 5pm this evening following a two-car accident along East Sunset Boulevard in Tiyan. According to Airport Police officers on the scene, a red to Toyota pickup truck heading southbound sideswiped a white Nissan Quest van.

The operator and four passengers inside the van along with the operator of the pickup truck were taken to the Guam Memorial Hospital as a precautionary measure so they could be treated for minor injuries they sustained in the accident. Airport Police were on site guiding traffic during their investigation, and as the vehicles were being towed away from the scene.

A GMH nursing supervisor says the victims are all undergoing evaluation in the hospital's emergency room.
