Katie Lai wins U-16 tennis division

Guam - In tennis news, congratulations to local tennis player Katie Lai who took home first place in the Under-16 Girl's Division at the McDonald's Junior Hardcourt Open State Championships in Gulfport, Mississippi.

Lai defeated the #1 seed, Christa Owens 6-3, 6-1. Katie also won first place in the doubles event of the tournament.
