Don’t miss the laser lights extravaganza

Guam - Despite a fire that burned a container-and-a-half of fireworks that were meant for this year's 4th of July and Liberation Day festivities, the 67th Guam Liberation Committee is making sure island residents still get a show.

The Independence Day Laser Light and Fireworks Celebration will be held at the carnival grounds in Hagatna.  A cultural group performance will kick things off at 7pm with a local band to perform at 8pm. 

Organizers say the 15-minute spectacular will begin at 9 o'clock. So make sure you get down to the carnival grounds for some of the best seats in the house.
