Guam - A 16-year-old will be charged as an adult in a string of armed robberies around the island. Francis Taisacan appeared in the Superior Court of Guam this afternoon. He was officially charged with three counts of robbery as a 2nd degree felony and is being held on $120,000 cash bail.

The teen was arrested along with his guardians Josephine and Eddie Castro. The trio's arrest follows an investigation by the Guam Police Department's recently formed Robbery Task Force during which an individual came forward stating he drove Taisacan to the Mermaid's Tavern and Ebeneezer Store, which he allegedly robbed at gunpoint.

Taisacan is also implicated in a robbery that occurred at Club High 57 in Maite.
