Guam - Game 3 of this year's baseball championship series between the Braves and Islanders picked up where hey left off last night before the start of Game 4. The Islanders were at bat with 1 away in the bottom of the 8th, trailing 9-6.
The Braves held it down on defense shutting down the Islanders for the next 5 outs to put them away and take a lead in the series 2-1 behind pitcher Glen Fernandez who earned the win with 2 strikeouts. Both teams went straight to work in game 4; the Braves started the game off scoring 3 runs on their first trip to the plate and rode the momentum from game 3 to beat the Islanders twice in one night 8-6 after 9 innings.
With the 2 wins last night the Braves look to wrap up the series with a win on Friday in Game 5. The Moylan's ODC Braves have now won 3 straight against A.K after losing the opener. C.J San Miguel got the win with 1 strikeout, Tony Yatar came in and got the save recording a strikeout in his outing.
