Guam - There's another addition to the Guam Visitors Bureau's Hafa Adai Pledge effort. The District Court of Guam this morning joined the dozens of other businesses and organizations that are part of the we are Guam branding initiative.
Chief Judge Francis Tydingco Gatewood says she's been opening her hearings with the Hafa Adai greeting since 1994. She says as part of the pledge the court will also be displaying local art throughout the building. She adds attorneys will also be allowed to wear tasteful island wear on Fridays during court hearings.
During the signing the chief judge also swore-in Attorney Charles McDonald to begin his practice in the federal court.
