Guam - The Guam Education Board plans to discuss various technology grants that have been made available to the Department of Education when they meet later this week. Superintendent Dr. Nerissa Bretania Underwood is expected to give a report on the Gateway to Success program that would put technology in the classrooms.
The board will also discuss the overcrowding issue at George Washington High School. While stakeholders and the administration have indicated their preference to keep things status quo, the board wants to look at viable alternatives to address the situation at the school even if it isn't implemented in the upcoming school year.
The board will meet at 8:30 this Thursday morning at the Department of Education Conference Room in Hagatna.
