Guan - KUAM News has confirmed with Guam Memorial Hospital nursing supervisor Jo Eustaquio that Yunmo James Ku died Friday evening. Ku was the victim in an assault that allegedly took place at the Sing-A-Song Cafe in Harmon last weekend.

Jimmy Chin Song is accused of beating Ku after an argument ensued between the two men in the parking lot.

Ku was lying unconscious on the floor as Song allegedly stood over him with a raised fist and a smile. Ku later regained consciousness and went home until his condition worsened a day later. Song turned himself in to police on Thursday morning and is charged with aggravated assault as a second degree felony.

Song posted $50,000 bail late Friday afternoon and he will have to submit his passport on Monday.

Yunmo Ku was 27 years old.
