Water leak in Pulantat, Yona awaits repairs

Guam - Yona Mayor Jose Terlaje is water blasting. It's been about one month since he's reported a water leak in the Pulantat area to the Guam Waterworks Authority. "They talk about conserving water 'cause that's our main source for our basic needs," he said. "Yet when we call them up to fix our water line, I can see if it's only a drip.

"But it's like a river here already."

The problem has gotten so bad that nearby residents are experiencing flooding and algae's growing in the water's path.  GWA was not available to comment on our story.
