Guam - This Thursday marks the deadline for those interested in serving as the head of the government's largest agency. Superintendent Dr. Nerissa Underwood has informed the Guam Education Board she plans to leave the Department of Education. The deadline was extended to this Thursday because no one applied for the job.

KUAM News, however, has confirmed that Governor Eddie Calvo's education liaison at Adelup, Vince Leon Guerrero, says he will be submitting his application.
