Guam topples Pakistan in int'l rugby

Guam - In rugby news our men's national rugby team picked up a big win over Pakistan in the HSBC Asian 5 Nations Cup Tournament in Jakarta Indonesia. Team Guam defeated Pakistan 37-10 in division 3 semifinal action to advance to the finals to face China on Saturday.

Tries scored by Captain Paul Claros, Chris Sgro, John Arceo, Rob Leon Guerrero, Steve Sablan, Stephan Santos helped Guam move on. Our national team also converted 2 tries and kicked a penalty to seal the deal. The winner of this division 3 match-up will be promoted to division 2 next season.
