Guam - Travis Michael Mendiola was arrested on charges of theft after he allegedly stole an orange golf cart valued at $7,000 from a residence over the weekend. A magistrate's complaint states witnesses saw a white Nissan Frontier pulling a trailer with the golf cart in the early morning hours.

Witnesses were also able to note the license plate number of the vehicle. Police located the residence that the vehicle was registered under where they found Mendiola. Court documents state Mendiola had stripped the orange paint off the golf cart.

He was booked and confined on charges of theft of property as a 2nd degree felony.
