Guam - Students from the Taekwondo Martial Arts Studio gathered at the Micronesia Mall for their annual Guam Taekwondo Tournament. The in-house tournament gave students the chance to display all their techniques and skills they have learned. There was a forms demonstration, board breaking and sparring along with a few other events that were lined up throughout the show. Here's Master Noly Caluag with more on their recent tournament.
"This is an annual event featuring many women, men and children as young as 6 years old participating in Olympic style sparring tournament for a chance to win gold, silver and bronze medals," said Noly Caluag with the Studio. "You witnessed a spectacular demonstration from our demo team doing high-flying kicks, jumping spinning kicks and board breaking from our students.
"I would like to thank Senator Sam Mabini for the presentation of the resolution and I would like to thank all the parents, Micronesia Mall and all the students and family and guests."
