Guam - Today's roundtable meeting on gas prices was cancelled, and instead Senator Dennis Rodriguez, Jr. said he will be meeting with representatives from Mobil Oil Guam and IP&E or Shell in private. These companies responded to his written invitations citing they were prohibited from speaking publicly about their pricing methodologies.
South Pacific Petroleum Corporation, which runs the island's 76 gas stations, did not indicate they would be willing to do the same. Today's forum was to hear from these companies about the rising cost of fuel and what can be done to provide relief.
