GFD addressing concerns with billing

Guam - It seems the Guam Fire Department will not meet its projected timeline to implement the ambulance fee system this month. According to Acting Fire Chief Mike Aguon, the Guam Attorney General had some concerns with the contract for the new billing system. Although Aguon could not say at this time what type of concerns the AG noted, however he does say that they are minor.

He says his staff is working to correct the areas of concern in the contract. He says he wants the process expedited, as the lack of a medic billing system is causing GFD to lose out on the money residents owe so far for ambulance transport services.

Aguon says it's unknown at this time when the system will be up and running.
