The award was presented to KUAM by representatives from the National Guard as well as Clarissa and Jacob's five beautiful children: Jeremy, Megan, Isabella, Megan, Hannah, and Chloe.

KUAM general manager Joey Calvo said, "It's an honor to be honored by the National Guard and Reserves; they sacrifice a lot for keeping us safe and we really appreciate it." Assistant GM and executive producer Marie Calvo-Monge added, "We really consider them as part of our family as well; they're both, I have to say, a shining example of community service.
