Guam - Two public schools are safer tonight thanks to a donation from MCV Cable Cares, Pepsi Guam Bottling and Securitech Industries. The companies donated a new security alarm system, system repairs and system monitoring services to Astumbo Middle School and M.U. Lujan Elementary.
The donation is valued at close to $23,000 and includes a year of security monitoring by Securitech. M.U. Lujan assistant principal Erika Sudo Cepeda told KUAM News, "This service will go a long way to make sure our students are in a safe and conducive learning environment here at MU Lujan Elementary."
The donations were made possible through money raised at the annual MCV-Pepsi Charity Golf Tournament held last month.
