Cop resigns amidst violence charges

Guam - Police Officer Paul Saturnio, arrested twice in the past two months on charges of family violence, submitted his resignation today. According to Guam Police Departmrnt Spokesperson Officer A.J. Balajadia the resignation follows an internal affairs investigation that was closed into the first arrest.

He was given ten days to respond to the findings. Chief of Police Fred Bordallo accepted the resignation, effective immediately. 

Saturnio meanwhile was also the same police officer who recently claimed safe harbor, essentially admitting to using drugs.
