Guam - Attorneys representing the Port Authority of Guam and Watts Constructors have agreed to continue their case for 90 days as the parties will engage in out-of-court settlement efforts. Watts is disputing more than a million dollars in charges imposed by the agency after they sent cargo through the Guam Shipyard.
The Port has moved to have the case thrown out, alleging Watts failed to exhaust available administrative remedies such as arbitration. Watts, however, argues the suit is valid.
